About Me
Hi there, I'm Emily Henry! I live in Blaine, MN and I am a certified doula who services families all over the Twin Cities and Metro area. I never imagined that I could have a natural, unmedicated birth, until my wonderful doula encouraged, educated and empowered me to have the most beautiful birthing experience. Thanks to her, I felt so calm and confident as I birthed both of my beautiful babies. After my experience with two natural births and having the water birth of my dreams, I felt called to become a doula myself. Each family and birth plan is unique, and I am blessed to have the opportunity to physically and emotionally support moms and their partners to have a positive and empowering birth experience. I would love to get to know you and see if we're a good fit to journey together through pregnancy, birth and postpartum! It's always an honor to share this precious time with parents, where both partners feel confident, informed, and surrounded with positivity, love and respect. I am passionate and knowledgeable about lactation support and Spinning Babies. I am also certified through the Body Ready Method® (Body Ready Method™ is based on 5 pillars: Upper Body Mobility, Core, Pelvis, Pelvic floor and Movement Patterns) As a BRM™ Pro I help assess, educate and help pregnant mamas to have a smoother pregnancy, birth and recovery through gentle exercises to help balance the body. Aside from being a doula, I am a former inner city school teacher who now is blessed to spend most of my time with my two boys and daughter. I love Jesus, health and wellness, and volunteering in my community. I enjoy traveling with my husband, getting lost in a good book, going for walks and relaxing at my family cabin up north.
